The white aesthetic is a celebration of the color white. White represents purity, cleanliness, and peace. This is why it’s used a lot in religious practices, as well as the traditional wedding dress color. On top of that, white reflects light off of it. Studies have shown that it’s very rare for people to say that white is their favorite color. So if you vibe with white, it’s most likely that you enjoy being clean, and having fresh starts in life. Here at Inspiring Home, we’re going to go over some of the ways you can incorporate the white aesthetic into your everyday life.

When you walk into a room filled with light colors, it’s like your eyes and brain can finally relax. Nothing pops too much, or is too in-your-face. It’s also a very safe color, since almost everyone likes a good, clean, neutral room. If you love to see a lot of white and neutral colors in home decor, you may be a fan of the Netflix TV show Dream Home Makeover. There are also a lot of products by Studio McGee at Target.

Keep Your Whites Clean With Bleach and Magic Erasers
If you love the color white, then you probably have a lot of it in your wardrobe. Wearing this color is usually associated with the summertime. (There is an old saying that you should only wear white from Memorial Day to Labor Day.) It can be hard to keep clean. One spaghetti sauce stain, and you’re done for. That’s why it’s important to have products on-hand like bleach, Tide to Go Pens, and OxiClean. Magic Erasers are also great for cleaning white sneakers.

Buy or Grow White Flowers
A great way to bring a bit of purity into your home is to keep a vase of white flowers. You can grow these on your own, or buy them from a local shop. Most supermarkets will sell bouquets of flowers, but they are usually a variety of colors. Look for white roses, daisies, larkspur, and white hydrangea.
