If you’re a fan of Architectural Digest, you may have already seen the fabulous Kendall Jenner house on the YouTube video titled “Inside Kendall Jenner’s Cozy L.A. Hideaway”. Judging from reading the comments, I’m not the only one who has fallen in love with Kendall Jenner’s house! Her home is both glamorous and inviting. Instead of feeling like a museum filled with untouchable objects, it truly looks like a home that’s lived in. My instant reaction to the video was; “Wow, I want that house.”
So, how can you get the same relaxing vibes in your own house? Most of the objects in her home are so expensive, the average person wouldn’t be able to afford creating an exact replica. (Especially the solid gold tub!) However, there is plenty of style inspiration we can take from Kendall and incorporate into our own living spaces. Here at Inspiring Home, I’ve done some detective work to pull together some of the objects you can purchase online.

The Retro 1960’s Turntable
Kendall’s retro record player and radio combo is so unique, it may have been custom-built for her space. It’s one of the coolest record consoles I’ve ever seen. Personally, I grew up in a house where my parents had a big walnut record console that was made in the 1950’s. (Very Mad Men.) Having one of these in your house truly is great for parties, because it comes with built-in speakers. This turntable in particular complements Kendall’s style perfectly, and it provides a way to play some music in her technology-free formal living room.

This Crosley Turntable is the Closest Thing You Can Buy to the one From the Kendall Jenner House

It may not be possible to find the same turntable as Kendall, but you can get the next best thing. After searching through all of the options online, I picked the Crosley Bermuda Deluxe Turntable. There are a lot of other options online with wood finishes, but I picked this one for a few reasons. First is that most people don’t have the space to add another piece of furniture just to fit a record player. Second is that Crosley is known for being one of the best record players out there. This one in particular still gives you a very vintage vibe, and it’s neutral enough to fit into most spaces.

The Bar
The formal living area has a small bar, which comes complete with a marble sink and backsplash. The bar itself is black, with silver and crystal drink accessories. Along the wall, we see black and white photographs of what appear to be celebrities partying at Studio 54. She also has an antiqued galvanized metal jug with a gorgeous flower arrangement. Remember- fresh flowers always make your space more inviting. Even though this space is small, it’s still seriously impressive.

A Crystal Decanter Set

You may not be able to afford to construct your own bar at home, but it’s simple enough to buy a full bartender kit online, and collect everything on your countertop, or buy a bar cart. The real key to elegance in a space like this is the collection of crystal decanters and glassware. Personally, I have a similar collection of my own that I have collected from antique stores, yard sales, and thrift shops over the years. In fact. mismatched decanters can be more interesting. It doesn’t have to cost a fortune to have a beautiful home bar!

The Art Studio
For anyone who loves to draw and paint, Kendall’s art studio is sure to make you swoon. This room was originally meant to be a projector room for watching movies, but she found that they didn’t use it very much. Rather than staring at a screen, Kendall’s favorite hobby was to take an easel and paint in her backyard. So, she decided to embrace what she loved to do by converting the movie space into her own art studio. “I’m not good at painting, but I thoroughly enjoy it. I consider it a form of therapy. So I love coming in here, just vibing out…” She goes on to say that when her friends come over, they drink wine, turn on basketball, and make art.

If this sounds like something you want to do, it’s totally possible to enjoy a wine-and-painting night alone, or with friends. In the video, we see that Kendall has a wooden easel. Once you have the easel and a set of paints with brushes, you should be ready to paint. It might never look the same as the Kendall Jenner house, but having any crafting or art area in your home can be a lot of fun.

The Green Kitchen
One of my favorite rooms in Kendall’s house is her green kitchen. It’s incredibly cozy, warm, and inviting. She has a lot of wooden bowls, rattan bar stools, and a seriously impressive collection of French copper pots. These are very popular among serious chefs, because copper absorbs heat quickly and evenly. They’re also so beautiful, they look like art hanging from a copper ceiling pot rack.

Copper Cookware

Okay, so it’s not easy to get a complete kitchen makeover on a budget. You could always choose to paint your cabinets forest green. But the next best thing I could think to copy Kendall’s kitchen would be to invest in Mauviel M’heritage Copper Pots. Are they expensive? Absolutely. But this is another one of those items you can collect throughout the years of your life. Just like my bar accessories, I’ve been collecting copper pots slowly but surely over the past few years. Eventually, a vintage collection can achieve the same look on a much smaller budget.

The Fitting Room
Kendall’s “Hannah Montana Room” is where she changes into her high-end pieces for photoshoots and work engagements. Basically- it’s everyone’s dream closet. But, of course, she has another closet for her everyday clothing items. On its own, the design is fairly straight-forward. The walls white, and they are lined with industrial-grade coat hangers. There are framed magazine covers lining the room in simple black frames with a white border. The far side of the room has a full-body mirror with lights.

Industrial Rolling Rack
Speaking from personal experience, not all coat racks are made equal. If you buy the cheap $15 to $20 clothing racks from places like Walmart and Target, expect them to collapse as soon as you hang anything heavier than linen shirts. Kendall may have had those racks custom made for her home, but The Songmics Black Industrial Pipe Clothing Rack is one of the closest dupes I could find online. This should be strong enough to hold many of your coats and other heavy items. If you have the room to spare, lining up these coat racks along the wall will give you a nearly identical dressing room.

The Tea Area
Kendall mentions that she drinks tea every single day. She loves it so much, she even keeps an electric kettle in her bedroom. Everything she needs to make tea are set on a wooden tray, along with a few good books, marble coasters, and a well-loved bundle of sage. She’s obviously ready to relax with as nice, warm cup of tea.

A Black Kettle

Lucky for us, I found the exact same tea kettle online! This is called The Fellow Stagg EKG. One of the cool features of this kettle is that it comes with a timer. So if you’re the sort of person who needs a cup of tea in the morning to get your day started, you could set the timer to get the water ready just as you’re waking up.

Marble Coasters
Part of Kylie’s tea area is her beautiful marble coasters. These are actually very affordable to buy real marble online. It’s one of those materials that never goes out of style, and will most likely be part of your home decor for years to come. These can easily be used on your living room coffee table, as well.

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
All around the Kendall Jenner house, it seems to be filled with amazing books. I was so happy to see The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho on Kylie’s little tea corner, because it’s one of my favorite books. And this cover in particular is so beautiful.

Dry Sage Smudging Stick
Kendall has a few spiritual elements in her bedroom, including bundles of dry sage. These are used for spiritually cleansing your home, erasing bad vibes from your space.
