[…] you’re a fan of Joanna Gaines, then you are already aware of her part in Fixer Upper, Magnolia Market, and her new series coming out on the Magnolia Network. Most of you already know […]

Fixer Upper: Welcome Home is the reboot of the series that made Chip and Joanna Gaines famous. But instead of airing a new season on HGTV, it’s premiering on their new Magnolia Network with Discovery! In the preview of Episode 1, we see that the home owners purchased a hoarder house that had been abandoned for 3 years. Yikes! This might be one of the most challenging makeovers Joanna has done yet.
In the first episode, you can see just how much Joanna Gaines’ style has changed over the past few years. She has gone from doing a traditional farmhouse style to more of a modern Japandi vibe. It just goes to show how much style she has that she can think outside of the box and evolve with time. As the season goes on, you can really see how she has ditched the shiplap and the Farmhouse style. Even so, the style is very unique to her. It’s luxurious, comfortable, and practical.
A Sneak Peek Into What You’ll See in Fixer Upper Welcome Home Episode One

One of my favorite rooms on the first makeover of Fixer Upper Welcome Home is the kitchen. Jo painted the cabinets forest green, which has been trendy over the past few years. But with the natural materials, sunlight, and Japandi inspiration, this isn’t going out of style any time soon.

Look how dramatic this bedroom makeover was. The home is practically unrecognizable compared to how it was before. The new bedroom has a wooden wall that looks like something you would only see in a luxury hotel. Go watch the episode! I don’t want to spoil too much more for you, but if you want to see all of the before-and-after photos, check out the Magnolia website.
Wish we didnt have to pay to watch the show..discovery is on cable..😐
