5. Donate or Throw Away Your Unwanted Items
As the years go on, many people accumulate a ton of stuff. This might come in the form of clothing, collectibles, paperwork, or anything else in your life. It’s not a coincidence that people who are very clean are usually also minimalists. If you want to keep your home as clean as possible, you should be regularly donating or throwing away things that are no longer useful in your life.
If you seem to have trouble letting go of things, you should really watch the Netflix original series called “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo.” She teaches people to go through the objects in their home, and only keep the items that spark joy. It’s not necessary to get rid of everything. It’s far more important to identify the items that really mean the most to you.
