9. Clean As You Are Cooking
Cooking your own meals can be fun, especially once you can master a few recipes really well. But a lot of people avoid the process because it creates so many dishes, crumbs, and splatter that need to be cleaned afterwards. The way to avoid this is to clean as you go. In every step of the cooking process, you will most likely have to wait for things to heat up or cool down for at least a few minutes. Use this downtime to begin wiping up your counters and prepare your dishwasher. It cuts down your time spent in the kitchen, and it makes the experience much more enjoyable, overall.
